LISSA

LISSA  (Long Island Senior Softball Association) is a non-profit organization that was created in 1988 and is one

of the largest "Over 60 Senior Softball Leagues" in the country. 

Presently,  LISSA  has 17 teams and over 300 active members.

 League play starts in late April/early May and runs through August (with year-end tournament following).

Each team has it’s own home field and plays a 60 game regular season. 

Double-Header games are played on Tuesday & Thursday mornings starting at 10:00AM.

In addition, "pre-season" games are played in April. A "snowflake season" runs from mid-September thru

mid-November. And an indoor "winter season" runs from early December thru the end of March.
